KVG interface is a project launched by the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV) to improve the integration of funds in the savings banks' risk management and capital requirement calculation. It is collaboratively maintained by the savings banks' IT service provider Finanz Informatik as well as the data vendors financial.com and Refinitiv.
The goal of the report is to provide savings banks with comprehensive, up-to-date and high-quality information in a fully automated manner. Participating asset managers provide detailed portfolio information about their funds on a monthly basis, which is then validated and published to savings banks.
